Cambodia is a developing country where 80% of the population lives in the countryside, engaged in fishing and agriculture. The modern way of life in Cambodia is still limited, and in Asia, Cambodia is one of the poorest countries with an average daily income of about $1.30 a day. Because of such poverty, Cambodians are unable to build decent homes, live comfortably, and have no sanitation facilities.

Their misery is why we came up with this plan to help ease their suffering, and it is in line with the principles of Islam that motivate us to help one another, especially for poor people like them. In line with the words of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
“When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).”[Muslim].

Therefore, alleviating suffering for the needy, especially for their living, is of great consequence.
This charitable act of providing housing for the poor, we have implemented in several provinces: Kampong Chhnang, Tbong Khmum, Kompong Cham, Kratie, Kandal, Prey Veng, Preah Sihanouk and Pursat Province.
